About this guide

A fan site for people playing Lagos Life, written by people playing it.

Who runs this

Lagos Life Game Guide is an unofficial fan site. It is not the game, it is not made by the game's developer, and it has no link to her. Lagos Life was created by Ijeoma Shalom Rayhamen, a Nigerian developer based in the UK, and everything official about the game comes from her, not from here.

This site is run by players of Lagos Life, for players of Lagos Life. It gathers the answers that come up again and again — what does a shift pay, which home can I afford, what is this LAPO loan doing to me — into one place instead of leaving them scattered.

If a page here is wrong, the game is right. That is the rule this site runs on.

What it covers

The guide follows the questions players actually have, in roughly the order they have them:

Three areas are still being written — decorating your home, weddings and health. The site says so rather than filling the gap with guesses.

  • How to play: your first day in order, from opening an account to finishing your first shift.
  • Money: what every gig pays, and which business pays its price back fastest.
  • Jobs: every career, what each rank pays and what gates it.
  • The database: every location, home and rent, transport fare, gig and business, in one place.
  • Nepo Baby vs LAPO Baby: the birth lottery, both sides, numbers and all.
  • Support: what to try when the game will not load, will not log you in, or loses your progress.
  • The FAQ: short answers for everything that does not need a whole page.

Where the numbers come from

Every figure on this site — payouts, rents, fares, prices, skill gates, business takings — is the game's own number. They come from the game itself, not from a guess, a survey or a bought data set.

Figures that can move, like the player count, are dated and sourced in the sentence that uses them. The rest of the numbers were last checked on 5 October 2026. When the game updates, any of them can change, and the game's screen beats this website every single time.

Last checked: 5 October 2026.

The game itself

Lagos Life is a free multiplayer life sim that runs in a browser. You create a character, work shifts, pay rent every Saturday, eat, make friends and try to move up, and everyone you pass in the city is another real player.

It launched on 1 October 2026 and is for players 18 and over. You need an account to play, and the same username and password brings the same life back on another device.

There are two official addresses: lagoslife.app and lagoslife.eliysites.com. The game's own share links, its advertise page and its password-reset address all use lagoslife.app. Anywhere else asking for your Lagos Life password is not the game, and this guide will never ask for it either.

In-game naira, items and houses have no real-world value. The game's own terms say they cannot be sold or moved out of the game.
